Registered Psychotherapist

For anyone who feels like they're failing at "having it all" — I'm here to tell you that you haven't failed. Perfection is a myth, and it's one that holds so many of us back from the happiness we deserve. We're flooded with highlight reels of what our lives are supposed to look like, and many of us stretch ourselves far too thin trying to do it all flawlessly. The truth is that a picture-perfect life is nearly impossible to sustain without serious cost to your well-being. What I've learned is that we can build a life that isn't picture-perfect but is full of self-love and freer from the weight of inconsequential worry.

You can write your next chapter however you'd like. Even as a therapist, I found it hard to tend to my own well-being while encouraging others to tend to theirs. From the outside everything looked fine, but inside I was caught between embracing my authentic self and fitting the mainstream mould of success. I was trying to make peace with my bicultural identity, build a family culture that felt right, and find a career path that was truly fulfilling. Through transitions both large and small, I began to integrate my professional training with my intuition to create a beautiful, imperfect life that feels aligned. My work now is to use holistic, heart-centred psychotherapy to help people have what they love and love what they have — because beyond our visions of perfection, our messy lives are full of opportunities for joy and peace.

I work with women in two main ways. If you're early in your vocational and personal path, I can help you uncover your genuine values, priorities, and desires, and design a personalized roadmap that accounts for your career, your relationships, and your cultural and lifestyle identity. If you've already built a career or relationship that looks good from the outside but doesn't feel aligned, I help you create and implement action-driven change so your life feels authentic and joyful. I also specialize in holding space for people cultivating multicultural identities, and for individuals and couples rebuilding their relationships on terms that foster mutual care, respect, and happiness.

I hold a Master's degree in Community Counselling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and am certified with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I've been counselling since 2003, including more than six years in Employee Assistance Programming, where I came to understand how much work-life balance shapes overall well-being. Alongside individual therapy, I run RAW (Revealing Authentic Women) Support Circles, where women meet to discuss what matters in their lives, support one another, and practise living authentically.
